Hi everyone, and welcome to The Baby Owen Company’s Blog! I think for short I might refer to ours as “The Baby O’Blog” (a small nod to Owen’s Irish heritage.)
There are so many blogs out there today that I’ve likened them to Public Access Television. Anyone can get a platform and ramble on and on, but is there anything they are saying that is really worth listening to? And if not, is it at least entertaining?
My goal is to be worth your time AND maybe a bit entertaining along the way. I’d like to provide some thoughts, tips, insight and reaction to my daily struggle (that’s right – struggle) as a “working, stay-at-home” mom who (in all her free time) is also trying to bring a product to market.
I’ve already taken quite a few steps to get to this point (hey, I have a website AND a Baby O’Blog, don’t I?) so I may backtrack a bit some days. But each week you should be able to count on the following from The Baby O’Blog:
* I promise to keep ‘em short (who has the time?)
* 2-3 entries a week, more if there’s lots to tell or something going on
* At least some insight into the world of product development (or at least, my take on it)
* As many “O’Thoughts” or “O’Tips” as I can muster
I want to be able to leave you with a little something each day, even if it’s just something to ponder. Sometimes I may have a few tips, but as with anything, you can take ‘em or leave ‘em. They are just my thoughts after all.
Today’s O’Blog Thought: If someone takes the time to call you, make the time to call them back.
